Owners’ Bio
Dr. Ahmed Maati
Dr. Ahmed Maati, an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2002 and earned his Doctorate Degree from Dominican College New York in 2010. He has over 20 years of experience in Physical Rehabilitation. He worked as a Physical Therapist in distinct medical facilities including outpatient clinics, nursing homes, and rehabilitation centers. Additionally, he worked as a Rehab Director for 8 years in a hospital setting. Throughout his career, he developed knowledge and experience in the management of various conditions that might impact mobility: muscular-skeletal conditions, neurological conditions, cardiopulmonary conditions, pediatric conditions, gynecology conditions, and geriatric conditions. Dr. Maati is qualified in handling conservative approaches, post-operative protocols, and pain management throughout all rehabilitation phases. He has an excellent comprehensive approach over all stages from acute injuries to chronic impairments. Dr. Maati is dedicated to treating his clients the way they prefer to be treated with his exceptional skills to meet their needs.
Dr. Ahmed Ahmed
Ahmed S. Ahmed has been practicing Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation for more than 25 years. He holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Cairo University. Dr. Ahmed is extremely experienced in treating various conditions and ailments including but not limited to pediatric and geriatric care (including homebound patients), muscular-skeletal conditions, spinal cord injuries, orthotic and prosthetic assessment and care, neurological conditions, cardiopulmonary patients, and those with cerebral palsy. He is a true professional who uses a comprehensive treatment approach to restore lost function, eliminate pain, and prevent injury. As the owner and manager of Elmont Community Medical Health Rehabilitation Center. Dr. Ahmed has dedicated himself and his facility to individualized patient care and a unique multifaceted approach to every patient’s needs.
